Hi BOLDies
I wrote a post this morning, throwing shade at all the creators who use scare-selling as their content tactics. Personally, I’m done with being tricked into aggressive sales funnels and subscriptions I didn’t even know I signed up for??
Frankly, these creators are lying to get paid, and I really don’t like it. It’s unethical business practice, and if I sniff it coming - someone’s getting blocked.
I think particularly for those of us with ADHD, we are extremely vulnerable to things like this. I’ll NEVER forget how mental I went at the poor customer service guy at The Times because they tricked me into a subscription that they quite literally made impossible to get out of. I thought I was going to have a heart-attack from the stress of it all, my poor Dad witness the conversation and even he had second hand trauma 😅 IYKYK.
My wish for you and the BOLD community is that we are NOTHING like this.

HI LADS
I know you are all good humans, because I seem to be attracting the best of the best. You are good souls who care about doing the right thing, but also ambitious, successful, empire-builders, because guess what? You can be all of these things! Despite what a bro with a podcast mic says.
That’s why I recorded a 30-minute video on ‘how to make your content work with the new LinkedIn algorithm update’, just for you to watch across your easter weekend.
This should give you a boost of encouragement to keep going on LinkedIn. I know it’s a bit wild atm, but these tips in the video should help.
I’ve built a six-figure business from my personal brand on LinkedIn, and I don’t shout at people, I don’t scare sell, and I certainly don’t trick anyone into signing up for anything. I believe all of us can build something successful, without lying or selling our souls.
My hope for you this weekend is to sit down with a coffee and take a moment JUST FOR YOU to jot down some content ideas and work on your personal brand. It’s a great thing to do across a long weekend where you have time to think, and whilst your creative juices are flowing. You can listen to my playlist here to give you some inspo (next to a salt lamp for best results). You can use my BOLD content planner too.
Final reminder, doors are open for The BOLD Community April cohort for a limited time, you can apply to join us here. If you have any questions on joining the community - please reply to this email and I’ll do my best to answer asap 😄
Have a gorgeous weekend lovely BOLD babes!
